There's so much to love here. It reminds me of the excitement of the early days at Olives in Boston, where the flavors were hauntingly good and as I would read the menu the dishes sounded so great the only way I could justify not ordering everything was to tell myself I had to come back the next day... I often did. The ambiance is casual, well appointed, and the feel of the place is great. Wherever you look you see everyone enjoying food, libation and just plain having a great time. Our waiter, Chris S, provided excellent service... personable, efficient, professional. We talked about the menu and came up with a great plan. I strongly suggest starting off with the Tuna Crisps... the flavors so clean and pure. We also enjoyed Steak Tartare, Short Rib Empanada (can order by the piece), Spicy Pork Taco (loved it but give the edge to the Empanada if you must choose). The Sweet Corn Agnolotti, perhaps their most famous dish, so fantastic (a good dish to share). I enjoyed the Grilled Carrot Salad, but for me a little too much going on here... the amazing flavors lose definition with so many items, I'd like to see it simplified a bit. My son wanted to try the Burger, it's very good, the fries great. The Crispy Confit Duck Leg is amazing! Bananas Foster Cake is a must... just look at the photo and you'll understand. The wine list is small but well chosen. We really enjoyed the 2020 Mantello, an Italian blend of Sangiovese and Syrah, rich and well balanced. I love everything about Buccan... the great setting, flawless chow, hot dishes served piping hot, a great beverage program, excellent service, the valet parking is available (complimentary) and what you'd expect here... friendly, professional and FAST. Kudos to Chef Conley and his crew... they should be very proud of what they have accomplished here. Can't wait to check out their second Buccan location which is scheduled to open in Coral Gables sometime this year. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Where Good Food and Non-Service Animals Mingle Freely I came. I saw. I corn agnolotti'd. Buccan is the kind of place where the food is fancy, the vibe is fun, and you're not entirely sure whether the poodle under the next table is a therapy animal or just emotionally attached to foie gras. Either way, I was in town and morally obligated (by Instagram and Bon Appétit) to make a reservation at one of the Top 100 Restaurants in America. Resistance was futile. Let's talk food: overall, it was solid. Not in a "makes you weep and text your ex" kind of way, but more like "wow, I feel like I should say 'compliments to the chef' in a British accent." Some dishes were fine; others made me consider uprooting my life and moving to a kitchen-adjacent apartment. Highlights: The sweet corn agnolotti--pillow-y, sweet, and whispering seductive things about summer fields in my ear. The short rib empanada--I'd happily smuggle six of these in my purse like a crunchy, meaty grandma. And yes, the hot dog panini. I don't know who green-lit this on a fine dining menu, but they deserve a raise, a hug, and possibly a street named after them. I wanted to roll my eyes--and then I wanted another bite. Dessert? Tasty, yes. But the crust was doing the absolute most. It showed up like a tuxedo to a beach picnic--technically appropriate, but come on, read the room. Service was good but chill, like your rich cousin who's too relaxed. And again, the only question I kept asking was: how many dogs are actually supposed to be here? Would I go again? Absolutely. Would I try to pet someone's Yorkie and pretend it's part of the dining experience? No comment.

A must visit in Palm Beach. Food is incredible. Ambiance is fun. Service is excellent. The only thing that did not wow me was the steak frites - would skip. Everything else I ordered I could easily have again - loved the short rib empanadas, the sweet corn agnolotti, the snapper, the steak tartare, and the tuna crisps. Worth the relative difficulty in getting a reservation!

Best sandwiches around! Highly recommend ordering ahead online to avoid a long wait. We waited 25 min for two sandwiches. Our mistake!

Wow! Solid place. All around delicious food. Flavors will leave you wanting more. Atmosphere is very classy and upscale. Service is friendly and warm. The cocktails could be more interesting but they are still very good and your typical staples. Will be coming back to try other menu items!

I picked up a Caprese sandwich from Buccan and took it to the beach (yes I needed to recharge)...simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The perfect balance of flavors, with high-quality ingredients that made every bite worth it. No pictures this time (I was too busy enjoying the moment), but trust my taste buds on this one! Buccan is a Palm Beach staple for a reason, and even something as simple as a sandwich showcases their attention to quality. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, you really can't go wrong. Highly recommend!

By far my favorite place to eat on the island. Easy valet parking, amazing atmosphere with the best dishes and services. All around 10/10 never have a problem and the corn agnolotti is the best dish I've tasted. Simply amazing. Must try: hot dog panini and the corn agnolotti

Oooh man! This food hit the spot after a long travel day! I did a carry out that I ordered when I landed and it was ready when I got to Buccan. I will be back the next time I'm in West Palm Beach! I can't really speak to customer service as I did it online and interacted shortly when they brought my food out, but based on the quality of their food I would expect the experience to match.

This is most definitely not a restaurant that you'll be able to dine in without a reservation so definitely advise making one in advance! We made our reservation for 7:45 (prime time) so to no one's surprise, this place was packed like sardines. Which is and had always been, off putting for me, however, it speaks to how great the restaurant is. We were seated about 15 minutes after our reservation but service was quick. We were immediately given water and our waiter was getting our drink order ready within minutes of being seated. I had the bathtub gin (very heavy on the cucumber) and my fiancé had their Cuban Espresso cocktail which was reposado based. Both were good but I definitely think they could have dialed down on the cucumber for mine. We ended up skipping appetizers since I came in with a plan to have multiple desserts and didn't want to spoil that. For dinner I had their burger which was fantastic! And my fiancé had their sweet corn agnolotti which was clearly a staple at the restaurant since so many others around us ordered it as well. For the real reason we came- we had their cookies and then their bananas foster cake. Both were delicious! All in all, it was a great restaurant. A little too bustling for my taste but still a lovely experience.

This restaurant was the poster child of what an upscale high end fantastic restaurant should be like. We were like to get reservation for Saturday dinner. The restaurant was packed in the evening. Inside is decent, with an open dining area and a bar on the side. Free valet service is offered to guests at the door. I was very excited to try several item from the menu. Started with the crispy duck leg. It was so soft that the meat came off of the bone as soon we touched it with knife. Then I got the scallops, again so perfectly cooked, with moist center and little brownish outside, served on top of delicious butternut squash and lardons. We also ordered the filet mignon (medium rare plus), one of the nest steaks I ever had. It was so tender and so tasty. They out did some of the most popular steak houses we had been in. It was incredible how fast all these amazing dishes came out from kitchen. We waited less than 15 minutes for all these amazing dishes including the steak. Their service was top notch, our waiter was a pro. Time to time they came to fill up all our glasses of water, cleaned crumbles from the table, and gave us new utensils for each course. I was thoroughly impressed with Buccan, for sure it was one of my best dining experience. Would for sure visit again if we are in West Palm Beach.
